Author and former criminal defense attorney Mark Shaw joins Patrick Coffin to discuss his explosive work new book Abuse of Power. Think the Charlie Kirk narrative is suspect? This is not the government's first rodeo. Central to the conversation is Dorothy Kilgallen, the famous journalist (and top panelist on the game show phenomenon What's My Line? who aggressively investigated the JFK assassination. Her biographer Shaw explains how "abusive power" operates through intimidation, disinformation, media control, and mysterious deaths. Kilgallen was the only reporter to interview Jack Ruby privately—and believed the official narrative was false. She publicly stated she would break the JFK story wide open—then was found dead under highly suspicious circumstances. Shaw draws chilling connections between JFK's assassination, the later murder of Robert F. Kennedy Sr., Kilgallen's death, and why Sirhan Sirhan deserves a new trial. All three cases involve: conflicting autopsy evidence; missing documents; compromised investigations; and media suppression Shaw argues these deaths reveal a pattern, not coincidence—a system protecting power at any cost. The discussion raises uncomfortable questions about: who controls historical narratives why certain truths are buried and how fear keeps journalists silent A sobering reminder that truth is temporarily dangerous—when it threatens entrenched power. In this week's Coffin Report, Patrick covers the following three stories:   Number One: Whom do you trust? The obvious candidates for government assets include: Tim Pool, Shawn Ryan, Nick Fuentes and Alex Jones. Patrick explains why each of these figures exhibit suspicious behavior as to their MO and general role in the selling of media narratives and agendae.   Second Two: Patrick's commentary on his attending, Healing the Whole Person with Dr Bob Schuchtz and his team—especially Sister Miriam James Heidland. So much of Catholic evangelization is overly philosophical and theological, and less personal and human. We can talk about psychological and emotional wounds if we really want to help people come all the way to Christ and His Church. Link: https://jpiihealingcenter.org/   Third Item: Why are 100,000 of mega church pastors being flown to Israel, and why are social media influencers being paid the $7,000 per tweet to advocate for Israel? How did the dispensationalist heresy become so entrenched in the protestant world? JOIN my community at True North: www.patrickcoffin.media

Ruth comes from an Ethiopian heritage and is currently training as a therapist while—very publicly through her thoughtful TikTok updates and witty commentary—exploring the Catholic Faith. She opens up about her deeply personal story, from growing up in a strong evangelical tradition, including a stint as a Mennonite, to wrestling with the historical claims of Rome. Her questions and doubts are expressed with refreshing directness and she isn't interested in glib answers. Patrick and Ruth get into a wide array of topics about authority and Scripture, trauma recovery strategies, the interplay of therapy and the healing grace of God, and the lived experience of growing up outside the Catholic Faith while slowly but surely peering in with increasing amounts of interest and—what's the best word?—longing. The conversation touches on her Ethiopian roots and the unique perspective this gives her on ancient forms of Christianity and on the continuity of the Church. Patrick asks about her TikTok presence, where she responds and interacts candidly about inner healing, attachment wounds, objections to the Faith, mental health, and prayer — and how these intersect with her growing interest in the Catholic worldview.
This week's Coffin Report features Patrick's top 5 Santa wish list items for Catholics. Let's stop using the word platform. It's for chickens who can't hold their own opinions. We need to throw out the Overton Window because it only applies to politics not evangelization. No more devil terms like anti-semite and homophobe, sedevacantist, and islamophobe.  Let's replace the spirit of Vatican II with the letter of Vatican 2 Let's drop all adjectives before the word Catholic
Patrick interviews UK-based journalist Pia Varma, writer-creator of the Laissez Faire's Substack and Instagram, on the modern media environment and why people feel increasingly disoriented. Pia outlines how today's media ecosystem is deliberately saturated with conflicting narratives, half-truths, and rapid-cycle scandals that never resolve. Discussion of the Charlie Kirk Utah event, where the media constructed multiple contradictory storylines within hours—an example of how public perception is steered through confusion rather than clarity. Pia argues that misinformation is no longer about one big lie but about a thousand competing micro-narratives designed to exhaust the viewer. Patrick and Pia examine why the public is kept anxious, reactive, and overwhelmed—a disoriented population is easier to manipulate. They unpack how legacy media, activist journalism, and political operatives coordinate indirectly to influence mood and behavior. Pia offers strategies for mental resilience: slowing down, identifying patterns, and consuming information intentionally rather than passively. 1) Why is an Openly Gay Man getting his sin validated by this lavender New York parish, with the full permission of Cardinal Dolan? Since the internet knows, will Pope Leo act or speak up about the activities of James Martin, SJ, with whom he has gotten smiling photo ops? This is all unimaginable before March 13 2013. No previous pontiff would permit this, or daily to respond if it happened. 2) Whom do you trust in the media and why? Patrick lays out his criteria for reliability: ignore anon accounts, look to see corporate sponsorship and business interests behind the host/influencers, and observe donor patterns. Are they an apostolate or LLC? Whom do they promote? 3) Is Charlie Kirk dead or alive? Patrick has contacted the Maricopa County burial records office, the Hansen Mortuary and chapel where Charlie's remains (?) were embalmed (?) and contacted the Diocese of Phoenix and the office overseeing Catholic cemeteries.   No one —not one—is willing to confirm or deny one tiny bit of information. Not personal or private things like literal grave location—just, is there any documentation verifying the death of Charles James Kirk on September 10, 2025?

Discussion on the attack against the Marian titles "Co-Redemptrix" and "Mediatrix of All Graces"—why they are not optional pious opinions but deeply rooted in Scripture and Sacred Tradition. John-Henry exposes how media manipulation and disinformation, both inside and outside the Church, distort the truth and erode confidence in authentic Catholic authority.  Patrick explains that honoring Mary's unique role does not diminish Christ but magnifies His work through her perfect cooperation with grace. Breakdown of the "spirit of Vatican II" phenomenon in its relation to the letter of Vatican II, which has often replaced faithful continuity with doctrinal novelty and pastoral confusion. Insights into how Catholics can navigate media chaos with discernment, prayer, and solid catechesis. Both hosts call for a return to clarity, courage, and Marian devotion in the face of modernism and moral relativism. "Confusion is not from God—clarity is." — Patrick Coffin
Patrick Coffin sits down with Dr. Ann Gillies—psychologist, trauma specialist, and author—to unpack the tightening legal and cultural noose in Canada around anyone daring to question the transgender movement. Drawing from decades of clinical experience and her deep Christian faith, Dr. Gillies exposes how trauma, ideology, and spiritual confusion intertwine—and how authentic healing is still possible through Christ. NEW COFFIN REPORT: In breaking news first reported by Candace Owens, conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was given a Catholic funeral Mass and buried in a Catholic cemetery. The story has triggered predictable backlash from the usual suspects — anti-Catholic evangelical dispensationalists who have long despised Rome's theology and its visible unity. Guest Nancy Charles, former trans activist and lesbian, now a joyful Catholic witness to truth and healing. •  In this very personal interview with Patrick Coffin, Nancy shares her early years of gender confusion and same-sex attraction, and how the LGBTQ+ movement offered belonging—but not peace. •  As a proud trans and active lesbian, she championed "authentic self-expression," yet behind the public persona was deep restlessness, depression, and other traumatic wounds. •  A crisis moment led her to question the ideology she once preached; the slogans stopped matching reality. •  Her brother, Joshua Charles (author, scholar, and host of Eternal Christendom), played a key role by patiently engaging her with Scripture, logic, and brotherly love. •  Through prayer, study of the Catechism, and discovering the mercy of Christ in Confession and the Eucharist, Nancy experienced genuine conversion and interior healing thanks to a kind and wise Catholic priest. •  She now dedicates her life to helping others harmed by gender ideology find hope in the truth of being created male and female in God's image. •  Nancy's story testifies that grace transforms identity at its deepest level—because Christ doesn't just affirm us; He restores us.
In this video, Patrick Coffin reviews the teaching of the New Testament on capital punishment (since the Old Testament is so obviously supportive) and how consistent and strong the teaching is, rooted in the Bible and the natural moral law.   Biblical Record:   Civil Authority: Romans 13:1–4 The state bears the sword by divine mandate   Personal Example: Acts 25:10–11 Paul accepts death if guilty   Criminal Justice: Luke 23:39–43 Jesus affirms the thief's confession of just punishment   Divine Delegation John 19:10–11 Authority to punish comes from God   Mosaic Context John 19:7 Mosaic law included capital punishment; not abrogated as immoral   Divine Precedent: Acts 5:1–11 God directly punishes by death   Judicial Authority: 1 Peter 2:13–14 Governors punish wrongdoers as God's agents   Theological Analogy: Hebrews 10:28–29 Death penalty as model of divine justice   Apocalyptic Symbolism: Revelation 19:11–15 Christ wields the "sword" of righteous judgment Philosophy: Drawing on Edward Feser and Joseph Bessette's book By Man Shall His Blood Be Shed—a rigorous exploration of justice, deterrence, and moral order.   👉 Link to book on Amazon https://amzn.to/4qbvKlW   Balance: Mercy and justice are not opposites; both reflect God's holiness and love.   Final takeaway: Catholics can uphold both the sanctity of life and the moral seriousness of crime without contradiction.   🎯 Join the movement for clarity and courage: 👉 www.patrickcoffin.media  — Become part of True North today.
In this explosive conversation, Patrick sits down with Pia Varma, writer and commentator behind Laissez-Faire Lounge (Substack + social media).   Pia breaks down the increasingly bizarre official story surrounding the Charlie Kirk killing, showing how the narrative keeps shifting—and why so many unanswered questions remain.   We explore the hidden nexus of influence involving Utah universities, LDS leadership, intelligence agencies like the CIA and FBI, and their entanglement with Washington power centers.   Why Utah? Why now? Pia unpacks the threads that connect academia, religion, and state power into a web few dare to discuss.   The Charlie Kirk event is not just about one man—it has become a lens through which media narratives are manufactured, controlled, and enforced.   Patrick and Pia stress that truth-seekers of all faiths—or no faith—must band together to expose deception and resist the manipulation of elites.   Pia shares how her Laissez-Faire Lounge project encourages critical thinking, intellectual honesty, and fearless dialogue.   Follow Pia Varma on Substack (Laissez-Faire Lounge), Twitter/X @PiaVarma, and Instagram @laissezfairelounge
• In the months leading up to his death, Charlie Kirk began expressing a deep curiosity about Catholicism—especially its intellectual coherence and moral authority in a confused culture. • Friends and collaborators, including Candace Owens and Bishop Josepk Brennan of Fresno, CA, observed his shift toward a more sacramental and historic understanding of Christianity. • Charlie reportedly attended several Catholic events and read Church history, showing particular interest in the unity of faith and reason. • Around the same time, he began questioning his earlier support of political Zionism, distinguishing between biblical Israel and the modern Israeli state. • This parallel "conversion" revealed a search for universal truth rather than partisan ideology. • Patrick Coffin argues that these two developments—his theological awakening and his rejection of ideological nationalism—stemmed from the same root: a desire for transcendent order grounded in Christ and the Catholic faith.
1 Leo XIV learns an important lesson, partly. 1️⃣ Pope Leo XIV Backs Off Politics After months of backlash over his geopolitical hot takes, Pope Leo XIV seems to be learning a rare Vatican lesson: silence is sometimes golden. Sources say the pontiff is stepping back from partisan commentary, focusing instead on evangelization and unity. Patrick Coffin breaks down why Catholics should welcome a pope who prays more and opines less — and how mixing theology with foreign policy never ends well. 2️⃣ Charlie Kirk Case Narrative Collapsing. The official story about the Charlie Kirk murder is unraveling faster than legacy media can spin. Patrick Coffin unpacks how new evidence and brave voices — notably Candace Owens and independent reporters — are exposing contradictions, suppressed footage, and political motives. As the truth surfaces, this case could redefine how Americans view media manipulation and law enforcement narratives. Truth doesn't fear investigation — it demands it. 3️⃣ Faith Under Fire: New Course Announcement Patrick Coffin announces Faith Under Fire, an all-new online course for Catholics who want to defend truth with clarity and charity. Students will tackle objections to God's existence, "once saved, always saved," Sola Scriptura, Marian dogmas, and the Real Presence — all grounded in Scripture, history, and reason. Learn how to stay calm, confident, and Catholic in the face of modern unbelief. Enroll today and reignite your faith.

Known for his quick wit, parody characters, and massive influence in the Chicago media scene, Kevin's life took a shocking turn when he was diagnosed with a rare form of multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2008. But a chance encounter with a broken statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, found discarded near a dumpster, changed everything. The Turning Point Kevin saw the shattered statue and felt compelled to take her home. That moment became the beginning of a profound spiritual awakening—his return to the Catholic faith he had long ignored. The statue, lovingly called "Broken Mary," became a symbol of beauty in brokenness and a reminder that God never discards His children. The Film: Broken Mary The new movie tells the incredible true story of grace, suffering, and redemption through Mary's intercession. Shot in Chicago and Michigan, it traces Kevin's journey from fame and ego to humility and hope. The film highlights how God uses broken things—and broken people—to reveal His mercy. Ministry and Mission Kevin now travels the country sharing the message of hope, forgiveness, and healing through his Broken Mary Project and Rosary podcast. He reminds audiences that every wound can become a window for grace. Follow Kevin's work, Rosary app, books, and updates on the film at BrokenMary.com and on social media @BrokenMaryProject.
In 2017, Gavin McInnes appeared on The Patrick Coffin Show because he was banned from social media. This is his return. Gavin joins Patrick to discuss his rollercoaster relationship with social media platforms: banned for years, then suddenly unbanned—what's really going on behind Big Tech's decisions? •  The real story of how Gavin co-founded the Proud Boys: separating fact from myth, and why the media portrayal has been so distorted. •  Why Gavin believes the Proud Boys were never about racism or extremism, but about fraternity, free speech, and standing up against cultural decline. •  A surprising turn: Gavin's journey into the Catholic faith. What drew him to Rome, and why Catholicism—not just generic Christianity—provided the answers he was seeking. •  Comedy as a mysterious and almost spiritual force: how laughter can reveal deeper truths, confront hypocrisy, and expose lies in a way arguments cannot. •  Conspiracy theories: why some are ridiculous, why some prove true, and why our culture can't stop obsessing over them. •  Reflections on cancel culture, truth-telling, and the power of staying rooted in faith when the world wants to silence you.

Waters, a former Irish Times columnist and First Things contributor, frames the work as Winston Smith's diary from 1984—a record for the unborn, preserving truths amid erasure. Waters argues we've entered a copy of reality detached from the original, where politics, ethics, and truth dissolve. COVID lockdowns exemplify this: a health "crisis" masking authoritarian overreach, with media flipping from truth-telling to industrialized lying.  Was COVID a dream, or did it really happen?Once the "land of saints and scholars," Ireland now embodies cultural collapse—abortion's moral ecosystem shattered, fatherhood in apocalypse (echoing Waters' 1994 play Long Black Coat), and institutional betrayal.  He laments: "I am an authority on the destruction of my country," wishing instead for skills in boats or squash.Waters dissects systemic wickedness: tyrannical police, corrupted judiciaries, silent abolition of laws. Beyond news events, Waters probes meanings—lost freedoms, fractured subjects "subdivisible to infinity," and humanity's thieving under technocratic masks. Despite censorship (his book has been shunned by Irish shops), Waters sees Substack as resistance. Advice: Hold fast to the good; pass truth to posterity.
In this powerful roundtable, Patrick is joined by Dom Raso, Mike Pantile, and John Sablan to tackle the growing crisis of masculinity in a culture bent on dismantling faith, fatherhood, and moral leadership. The conversation confronts the sobering murder of fellow Christian leader Charlie Kirk and what it reveals about the state of our nation, the assault on manhood, and the urgent need for strong, faith-filled men to rise up and lead. Together, they explore how authentic masculinity—rooted in sacrifice, responsibility, and Christ—is the antidote to cultural collapse. About the Guests Dom Raso – Former Navy SEAL, founder of CRUSH EVERYTHING, speaker, and leadership coach who trains men to live with courage, clarity, and conviction. Mike Pantile – Men's coach, podcaster, and unapologetic Catholic voice on reclaiming manhood through discipline, prayer, and personal holiness. John Sablan – Co-founder of World Ablaze Ministries, Catholic evangelist, speaker, and podcaster dedicated to strengthening families and calling men into their God-given vocation.

Enjoy your show greatly! Question about cremation: If cremation is just a quicker oxidation process than burial, why is it considered to be different? isn't the only factor different with cremation is that it is a quicker process and without embalming fluids?

Their idea of success is totally unacceptable to many Catholic women I know. I am the breadwinner in my home although we have very traditional marriage. That is how it worked out for us. and as much as I wish to live in a Trad Catholic paradise, I fully realize that not everyone will convert. I would hope they would work for respecting each others religion and not for killing those who would not comply. Crusaders were motivated to go to Jerusalem to save Christian holy places and pilgrims, but many did kill Jews there while fighting Islam.
